It has been 11 months since I last talked to you here. I am sure you are expecting some elaborate explanation. But the truth is life started “Life-ing”. I know I am not the only person who can say the pandemic has had me in CHOKEHOLD. I lost myself, found myself, learned more about me, and more over the last two years.  My whole purpose of sharing Thee Multi Maven (TMM) with you all was to share my journey. I wanted others to be able to learn from my life experiences. Right now is the most I felt like ME since March 2020. We know that people and things can be here today and gone tomorrow. I want to maximize my time here by sharing everything I can. So it is time for me to get BACK to my purpose! Come Journey With Me. 

Welcome to Thee First Multi Maven Monday. Thee First Monday of the Month as we Welcome April. Can you believe that it is already Quarter 2? If you are anything like me you probably are still reflecting on Quarter 1, haven’t started planning for Quarter 2, and the biggest one, you probably are still trying to get your shit together for 2022! Don’t worry this is a safe space and you aren’t alone.  

Recently I was talking to someone and she said “Why do we STOP doing things that help?”. My original response was to be funny and say we are hard headed, and have a million things to do. But ever since she asked me that it has been on my mind. Now I don’t know your lifestyle, but I have this BAD! If I write in my planner daily/weekly then I am more productive. If I start and end my day with prayer I am less anxious. If I clean my home daily then it will be easier for my weekly deep cleans. If I journal frequently I am lighter. However, somewhere along the way I stop doing these things. Now listen, I didn’t  say I will have all the answers lol…But continue to Journey With Me. 

My question to you is: What have you stopped doing that helps you? Take inventory of your life. What areas are you struggling in right now? Write that down. Now think about what you can incorporate in your daily life that HELPS you in those areas. In order to see changes you  have to be willing to CHANGE! You can’t expect different outcomes doing the same things. Believe me when I say I am not just talking to you, but to ME! I am not saying that it will be easy. But I am saying that we have to intentionally try! The real key is to START! Start planning for your week, month, quarter, future. Start creating routines and habits. Start reflecting on your lifestyle so you can check if you are stopping anything that helps you. Start taking back control of your Life! 

At the beginning of last year I read a book called  “Atomic Habits”. It was a great read that helps you create a healthy relationship with creating habits/routines. Although this is an area that I am still growing in I believe the book has a lot of helpful tools & resources. Click the book to purchase!

    I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
    I’m not very internet savvy so I’m not 100% certain. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.
